Colorado Real Estate Stats – May 2009

We are also seeing the absorption rates of a few areas start to hit around that 6-8 month moving average of inventory. Rates are still down and this is considered to be a good trend to watch as signs of recovery continue to bolster the economic conditions in the marketplace.

May 2009 posted 24% fewer closing than last year at this time with year to date closings off by 20%. Avg days on market increased to 135 days a 30% increase over last year. Only 383 new listings came on the market last month a 30% decrease over 2008.
